Helping you through the first 100 days in your new job

Congratulations on your new role!  Have you thought about how you’re going to make your first 100 days count?

You’re in the spotlight and may feel the pressure to perform. Here are some tips and tricks to keep in mind, to make sure you feel comfortable and ready for the challenges ahead.

  1. Preparation: During the interview you only get a small insight into your new company culture and the job responsibilities you will have, so do as much research as possible on the company before you begin. Ensure you understand what’s expected of you and agree clear objectives.

  2. Show them your worth: From the get go, bring in new ideas, make suggestions and demonstrate your enthusiasm.

  3. Build relationships: It’s really important to establish strong and professional working relationships with your colleagues, at all levels.

  4. Create an action plan: Before you start, make a list of what you want to achieve in the first three months, your line manager may have already set goals and objectives however it can only look good when going above and beyond what is required of you.

We hope this has helped calm the nerves.  Good luck in your new job!
